The button-like located at back of my LD which served as some sort of protection whenever the LD is laid flat, melts due to heat which were emitted while the unit is in its protective leather case flip top.
Right now, I prefer to use the case which was included in the box upon purchase. This case with hard front obliged me to "peel" the unit from its holding case upon usage thus ideal on preventing such occurence.
